For those suffering with Parkinson’s Disease, exercise has been shown to improve function, posture and endurance, while helping to control pain. Discover these benefits by joining this unique exercise program for individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s.
Program offered Tuesdays and Fridays 1:30-3:30pm - three different classes run during this time, please contact Anne Langenfeld-Smith for more information
The hour long class is split into 2 half hour session. Thirty minutes spent on stretching and trunk mobility and thirty minutes spent on walking on the treadmill.
Program is lead by a certified personal trainer and Physical therapist
Class fee: $50/month for YMCA members, $65/month for community participants
