This class will focus on drawing, painting, sculpting and paper mache as well as learning about art. Each class students will add their own personal touches to their projects.

Little Chefs will explore the world of baking with hands on activities, mixing, rolling and decorating tasty treats. Its a perfect way to introduce your child to the joy of baking while building fine motor skills, following simple instructions and of course tasting their own treats

Nature Play and Learn

In Nature Play and Learn we use the Tinkergarten curriculum, meet weekly and focus on one of eight core skills. Each week, participants should bring water bottles and seasonally appropriate layers and a blanket to sit on.  We love to play in (nearly) all weather, but in the case of unsafe weather we will meet in the Pool Observation Room.

The class will search for hidden caches located within walking distance of the Y, then come back to cool down for a bit in the Family Adventure Pool. If weather is bad, class will do indoor scavenger hunting games and play games to learn how a compass works.
