The Y makes unwinding with your family easy.  Family Play Time has something for everyone.  Kids can play and get their energy out while parents connect for some valuable adult conversation.    All ages welcome, parents are responsible for watching their own children.

Nutrition 101
Saturday, June 1
9:00–11:00 a.m.
This seminar aims to simplify complex nutritional concepts. Participants will learn about the three macronutrients—carbohydrates, protein, and fat—and explore other essentials of nutrition, including vitamins, minerals, and fiber.
Participants will leave feeling empowered to make healthier choices in their daily lives.

Intentional Behavior Change
Tuesday, June 4
6:00–7:00 p.m.
This class is designed for people who want to break free from old nutrition patterns and create lasting behavior changes in their lives. Participants will learn the steps of the behavior change process and apply this knowledge to meal planning.

SELF-DEFENSE WORKSHOP

Saturday, May 11

Gymnastics Gym, West Washington branch

Learn techniques to feel confident and safe!

Cost: $10 members, $20 community participants

Led by Chris Delcamp, certified personal trainer for 24 years and martial arts and self-defense instructor for 35 years.

Self-defense involves awareness, assertiveness, safety strategies, and verbal and physical skills. This workshop will teach awareness and preparedness, along with ground and standing techniques that are easy to learn and applicable in real-life scenarios.

This workshop will be physical, so dress comfortably and ready to move.

This workshop is suitable for teens, college students, and women and men of all abilities.

April 20 – Tea Time! – Each participant needs to register

Tea Time!- Add a little Springtime joy to your week by joining us for a fun Tea Party! Tasty beverages paired with tiny snacks and fun etiquette facts! Pick your own cup & saucer, then keep for future fun! Register each family member and invite your friends!

May 4 – Family Derby Party – Each participant needs to register

Family Derby Party: No need to place a bet, this will be a Fan Favorite event- Hands down!! Come learn fun derby facts, make your own hat/fascinator, enjoy an all age friendly Mint Julep, and more!! What a fun way to add a little fun to your weekend, or begin your derby day off right!

June 29 – Family Painting Event – Each participant needs to register

Paint Your Summer- Family Painting Event: Grab your favorite people and come on over for a refreshing time with lemonade and painting your own canvas! Solidify your spot now by registering online!

July 27 – Y Dye Tie Dye – Each participant needs to register

Y Dye Tie Dye- Let’s all add some splashes of color to our lives with a fun and dye filled event!! This is sure to bring you all a smile as you will have a fun tie-dyed piece to keep! Register to secure your spot!

Night out for you, fun night for them. Enjoy a night out while the kids have fun at the Y. Activities could include: games, art and crafts!  Please pack a bag lunch/dinner for your child.

• Party guests will have shared use of the Family Adventure Pool.
• Birthday child receives a Y birthday t-shirt.
• All youth party guests will receive a Y birthday cup.
• Parents must accompany children in the pool.
• You are able to bring in outside food, just no alcohol.

Gym birthday parties are run on Saturday or Sunday afternoons.

• 2 hour party, 1 hour held in the gymnastics gym and 1 hour in a private party room
• up to 12 children for parties for 3-5 yr olds and up to 16 children for parties for 6-10 yr olds.
• Parties can consist of gymnastics stations, obstacle courses, games and for an additional fee a bounce house.
• A Y Birthday Party Host will help set up, lead gym activities and clean up the party.
• Birthday child receives a Y birthday t-shirt.
• All youth party guests will receive a Y birthday cup.
• you are able to bring in outside food, just no alcohol.

$200 for Members and $250 for Community Participants (to add a bounce house to your party, there is an additional $60 fee)

Nerf birthday parties are run on Saturday or Sunday afternoons and consist of the following:

•  2 hour party- 1 hour of nerf gun capture the flag style games and 1 hour in a private party room.
• A Y Birthday Party Host will help set up, lead games and help clean up the party.
• Birthday child receives a Y birthday t-shirt.
• All youth party guests will receive a Y birthday cup.
• Maximum number of children is 12 and at least 1 adult must be present for the games.
• All equipment is provided for the games.
• You are able to bring in outside food, just no alcohol.
• Grades 1-5

$200 for Members and $250 for Community Participants
