INSANITY®

Dig deep with total body max interval training.

INSANITY® is a cardio class, based on max interval training. This class will push you past your limits with athletic/plyometric drills mixed with intervals of strength, power, resistance, and core training. No equipment or weights needed. You don't have to be in extreme shape – levels of each exercise are provided. Time to dig deep!

  • Youth ages 12-13 may attend accompanied by an adult
  • Teens age 14+ may attend unaccompanied by an adult

A Typical Class

Class will begin with a 9-minute warm-up. Then the real fun begins as the class dives into max interval training. During this time, expect to perform body weight exercises that focus on cardiovascular fitness and strength through a series of intervals. Each interval series will consist of 4 exercises performed for 30 seconds each. Each series is then repeated 3 times with a 30 second recovery in between. With timed segments, you don't have to follow the beat of the music, you get in as many repetitions as is right for you! After you complete the intervals, class will finish with a stretching sequence to help cool-down the body.

Tips + Preparation

  • New to class? Arrive a little early so our instructor can give you some pointers.
  • Water and a sweat towel are great to have handy.
    You will want to stay hydrated and you WILL sweat.
  • INSANITY® is offered in both a 30-minute and 50-minute format.
    If you are new to INSANITY® you will want to try the 30 minute class first.

Equipment Needed

  • No equipment is needed for this class.

Attire and What to Bring

  • Come to class dressed and ready to move your body
  • Loose-fitting, functional clothing made of breathable material to allow air flow
  • Water bottle
  • Sweat towel (available at the welcome desk)
