Swimfit

Imrove your swimming stroke, train for a triathlon, or just get a good cardio workout in.

Whether you are a novice swimmer or a master swimmer, training for a triathlon or just needed a more structured swim work out, join us for swim training and technique enhancement. Swimmers must be able to swim one lap before enrolling in this class.

  • Drop-in Class
  • No registration required
  • Teens age 14+ may attend unaccompanied by an adult

A Typical Class

The instructor will provide a workout for each individual based on their experience and fitness level. As the participants progress, the instructor will help with refining technique and form. In addition, this class helps to increase endurance and strength.

  • An improved swimming stroke
  • Increased endurance
  • Better knowledge on the fundamentals swimming strokes

Equipment Needed

  • Equipment is provided by instructor
  • Kickboards and Pull Buoys are provided; however, if you prefer your own,
    bring them
  • Swim Fins if you would like to train with them

Attire and What to Bring

  • Kickboards and Pull Buoys are provided; however, if you prefer your own,
    bring them
  • Water bottle
  • Swim cap (optional but useful for keeping hair out of the face)
  • Goggles
