Rapids Resistance Training

Challenges your body through timed circuits that involve you traveling with the current and against it in our Lazy River. Provides an incredible cardio workout with your core engaged the entire time!

  • Teens age 14+ may attend unaccompanied by an adult

A Typical Class

Class begins with a warm-up before transitioning to timed intervals that alternate between moving with and against the current. The instructor uses a whistle to signal when to change direction. Each interval becomes slightly more difficult to help you reach your target heart rate, challenge your core and increase your endurance.

  • It is a non-impact class so it is gentle on the joints
  • Improves endurance and overall fitness
  • Increases core strength

Tips + Preparation

  • Wear water shoes if you have trouble walking on the pool floor
  • Have fun!
