NHL Street Hockey
YMCA Street Hockey powered by NHL STREET
Get ready to lace up (sneakers only!) and hit the pavement—YMCA Street Hockey powered by NHL STREET brings the excitement of hockey to the Y in a fun, fast-paced, and inclusive way. This program introduces youth to the game of hockey through street-style play that focuses on teamwork, skill development, and confidence—all without the ice.
In partnership with NHL STREET, participants will learn the fundamentals of hockey including stick handling, passing, shooting, and game play through age-appropriate drills and small-sided games. No prior hockey experience is required, and all skill levels are welcome. Our trained YMCA staff create a positive, encouraging environment where kids can stay active, build friendships, and fall in love with the game.
Whether your child dreams of being the next NHL star or is just looking for a fun new way to stay active, YMCA Street Hockey is all about movement, sportsmanship, and fun—the Y way.
Please note if you register after 4/12/26 we cannot guarantee your jersey will be here by week 1.
