The class is tailored for those new to strength training or looking to elevate their fitness journey. Participants will learn the basics of weightlifting, including how to use free weights like barbells, squat racks, benches, and dumbbells. Skilled instructors will guide and support you every step of the way, helping you feel confident and empowered to achieve your fitness goals. Whether you’re aiming to build strength or enhance your workout routine, this class offers an excellent opportunity. Each day we will discuss a new topic before class. This class is all about learning some of the basics and exercising for life.

A properly structured and progressive training program is scientifically proven to improve your athlete’s performance. The YMCA Sports Performance Programs are here to help your athlete ages, 11 and up lay the foundation for athletic success through engaging, age-appropriate training focused on:

• Strength & Stamina
• Increased Confidence
• Injury Prevention
• Power/Acceleration & Speed
• Proper Weight Room Etiquette

2 Days per week Rate: $240

3 Days per week Rate: $360
