American Red Cross Lifeguarding-Blended Learning
This lifeguard certification includes CPR/AED and First Aid. It teaches the basics on for lifeguarding only and is a highly accepted lifeguard certification nationwide. The course is split into two parts, an online portion and a in class portion. The online portion is approximately 8 hours of online work. The in-person course will be approximately 22 hours that will be conducted of a 4 day period.
The participant will receive the link to complete the online portion prior to the first in class portion of the course. Please register using the email you would like to linked with your Red Cross account for the lifeguarding course.

The in-class portion will be conducted over a 4-day period. All four days will have to be attended and completion of the online portion is required. The in-class portion times for each day will be detailed out in an email sent out prior to the class when the online portion is sent out to participants.
For Classes that start before September 2026:
If the class occurs during the week Monday through Friday, each of the four days will run 9am-5pm.
If the class occurs during Thursday through Sunday:
Thursdays: 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. |
Fridays: 3:30 – 8:30 p.m. |
Saturdays: 8a.m. – 5p.m. |
Sundays: 8a.m. – 5p.m. |

ARC-Lifeguarding Instructor/Instructor Trainer Recertification Course-BL
This abbreviated re-certification course is for currently certified instructors and instructor trainers. Opportunity to renew your basic level certifications upon request. *All participants will be required to show proof they have completed the r.24 online update for instructors prior to attending the in-person session.

Please also bring with you a copy of the Lifeguard Instructor manual, a whistle, hip-pack, and resuscitation mask (Adult and Infant or a universal) with you to class.
It is recommended to bring a copy of the lifeguard deck book and the lifeguard participant manual. These can be purchased at the Red Cross Store.

Babysitting-West Washington
This course will teach participants the proper knowledge and skills to safely and responsibly care for infants and children. They will also learn about best practices when babysitting and basic first aid.

CPR Professional-Basic Life Support-West Washington
The ASHI CPR Pro course will teach participants CPR and AED skills for individual and two person rescues. This course is meant for professional occupations where more advanced CPR skills are required. This is a 2 year certification.

Home Alone Safety-West Washington
Participants in this class will learn about how to be safe when walking home alone or when they are at home alone. It will include topics such as danger recognition, fire safety, answering the door and phone when home alone, and some basic first aid. Parents/Guardians will be asked to join us for the last 30 minutes of class, and participants will take home a safety workbook.
