We offer a variety of weekly free group exercise classes for our Y members. There is something for everyone at every stage of life, regardless of age, physical ability, size, or shape. Group Exercise is the perfect fit for someone who enjoys the encouragement of instructors and classmates. These classes are designed for you to drop in whenever you feel like or have time, and you can start whenever you are free!

BODYBALANCE
BODYBALANCE is a yoga, tai chi, and pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration, and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves, and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into harmony and balance.

BODYCOMBAT
BODYCOMBAT is an empowering cardio workout that is fiercely energetic. It is inspired by martial arts and draws from disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi, and muay thai.

BODYPUMP is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This workout challenges all your major muscle groups. Great music, awesome instructors, and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for…and fast!

Les Mills CORE
This intense core training workout is designed to tighten and tone your midsection. It utilizes your bodyweight, weight plates, and resistance tubes to challenge your balance and coordination and improve your functional strength. All the moves have options, so it’s challenging but achievable for all fitness levels.

Les Mills GRIT Cardio
Les Mills GRIT Cardio is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that improves cardiovascular fitness, increases speed, and maximizes calorie burn. This workout uses a variety of bodyweight exercises and provides the challenge and intensity you need to get results fast.

RPM is a group indoor cycling workout where you control the intensity. It’s a fun, low-impact class with great music, led by an instructor who takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints, and flat riding.

With the foundations of dance and using a prop to balance, you will do exercises focusing on isometric strength training combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements for a great toning workout.

ForeverWell (Active Older Adults)
ForeverWell
This class includes a warmup, then a few short low-impact cardio segments interspersed with some strength and balance work. Participants use chairs, hand weights, medicine balls, resistance tubes and bands, and more for this workout. The class finishes with seated stretching.

Mindful Meditation
Guided meditation and breathwork will relax your mind and body, cultivate positive energy, and give you a powerful tool to manage your emotions. Senior Fitness
Have fun and move to the music through various exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and daily living skills. A variety of equipment might be used for resistance.

This intense interval training class combines sprints, hills, and endurance training on the bike with functional and plyometric movements off the bike. The result is a one-stop shop for a total-body workout. Bike shoes are not recommended for this class.

Step
With a portable step platform with height-adjustable risers, participants will perform choreographed exercise routines up, onto, down, and around the step for great cardio fitness. Additionally, this class provides exceptional training to shape the lower body. Your coordination will be tested at times! But, if you want strong legs, a lifted butt, and a functionally fit core – step this way!

Shallow-Water Ex
Make the most of water’s resistive qualities to help increase your flexibility, cardio fitness, and muscle strength. Participants should be comfortable in the water but do not need to have swimming skills, as this class is taught in chest-deep water with feet on the pool floor.

Rapid Resistance
Walking, jogging, or running against the resistance of water adds an increased challenge for exercisers of all abilities. This class will improve cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance, and joint stability.

This deep-water class involves a variety of movement patterns in all directions to build cardiovascular fitness and core strength. Participants wear a flotation belt to remain suspended in the deep water.
