Volleyball

Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced — 3rd-8th grades

Skills: Beginner

  • Participants will learn basic skills such as bumping, setting, and serving.
  • Participants will learn how to play in a team setting on a volleyball court.

Skills: Intermediate

  • Participants refine skills such as bumping, setting, and serving.
  • Hitting, Driving and spiking skills are introduced.

Skills: Advanced

  • Advanced skills in bumping, setting, serving, and hitting are taught.
  • Tipping, blocking and rotations are taught.

  • Intermediate & Advanced: Fitness work through strength
    and agility training included during class

Tips and Preparation

  • Please arrive on time and have your child use the restroom prior to class
  • Community Participants must provide ID or their
    Community Participant Pass upon entering the building.

Attire/What to Bring

  • Tennis shoes with non-marking soles
  • Knee Pads
  • Athletic attire
  • Water bottle
  • Equipment will be provided for the class

Sign Up

  • Beginner: Class is 45 minutes long
  • Intermediate & Advanced: Class is 75 minutes long
  • Registration prior to class is required
  • Classes run every session.
