Water Jog

Low impact cardio and total body workout - from deep to shallow end of pool.

This class keeps you constantly moving in deep water and your heart rate up. It is low impact which allows for ease on the joints but keeps you challenged at the same time. It finishes in the shallow water with a cool-down and stretching.

  • Teens age 14+ may attend unaccompanied by an adult

A Typical Class

Class begins in the deep end of the large pool – jog belts are available for use. Traveling movements such as bicycling, stepping or skiing are some of the variations that form the exercises in the deep end which are often choreographed to music. The last few minutes of the class are in the shallow end. The instructor leads participants through exercises that incorporate the use of dumbbells and then finishes with stretching and balance.
