PiYo Strength®

Low-impact tone and strengthen - no weights, no jumps.

PiYo Strength® is a low-impact, high-intensity body-transformation program. It uses the most effective Pilates-and yoga-inspired moves set to a fast pace to help you burn fat while you sculpt long, lean muscles. You'll carve every inch of your body without jumps, without weights, and without straining your joints.

  • Drop-in Class
  • No registration required
  • Youth ages 12-13 may attend accompanied by an adult
  • Teens age 14+ may attend unaccompanied by an adult

A Typical Class

This class is more aerobic than yoga or Pilates classes. You can expect a typical class to blend sports training, core conditioning, dance, stretch and athletic drills to help pump up the calorie burn and build muscle.

Tips + Preparation

  • New to class? Arrive a little early so our instructor can give you some pointers.

Equipment Needed

  • Personal yoga mat (the Y also provides yoga mats for this class)

Attire and What to Bring

  • Come to class dressed and ready to move your body
  • Comfotable, functional clothing made of breathable material to allow air flow
  • Water bottle
  • Sweat towel (available at the welcome desk)
