On August 22, 1999, the Feith Family Ozaukee YMCA opened its doors. A YMCA in Ozaukee County was the dream of several local community members who worked hard through the ‘90s to make the Y a reality. The Y is named after John and Elizabeth Feith for their generous donation and was built with a vision for positive impact through the county and continues to be a resource for individuals and families. The impact of the Y is demonstrated through programs such as Safety Around Water and LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA.

The Y is a powerful association of men, women and children from all walks of life joined together by a shared passion: to strengthen the foundations of community. With a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y nurtures the potential of every youth and teen, improves the nation's health and well-being and provides opportunities to give back and support neighbors.
