Brooke Novaczyk Receives Leadership Award

[April 4, 2019] – Brooke Novaczyk, current Kettle Moraine YMCA Board Member, received a Leadership Award on behalf of the Kettle Moraine YMCA at the Fall Leadership Conference for the Wisconsin State Alliance of YMCAs. While serving on the board for just over a year, Brooke ambitiously took on the role of 2018 Annual Campaign chair with her husband, Nic. Brooke is the granddaughter of Bernie Ziegler, who is a founding father of the Kettle Moraine YMCA. The Wisconsin State Alliance of YMCAs Leadership Award recognizes those for their commitment and dedication to the Y.

Brooke was instrumental in the success of our 2018 Annual Campaign and Party with a Purpose. When Brooke agreed to take on this role of Annual Campaign chair, it was clear that Brooke takes great pride in the footsteps that her grandfather Bernie began for the Y. She didn’t think twice and was up for the challenge, engaged new donor prospects, and made certain that the Annual Campaign’s Party with a Purpose was seamless to all of our guests. She was a solid pillar of support and leadership to our Board and Donor Development Committee and worked tirelessly to make certain our Party with a Purpose fundraising was a success.

The Y is a powerful association of men, women and children from all walks of life joined together by a shared passion: to strengthen the foundations of community. With a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y nurtures the potential of every youth and teen, improves the nation's health and well-being and provides opportunities to give back and support neighbors.
