Participants in this class will learn about how to be safe when walking home alone or when they are at home alone. It will include topics such as danger recognition, fire safety, answering the door and phone when home alone, and some basic first aid. Parents/Guardians will be asked to join us for the last 30 minutes of class, and participants will take home a safety workbook

Join us for lots of fun activities and classes that will keep you going while mom and dad get a bit of time to get a few things done around the house, get a workout in, shopping, a short date, etc. Make sure to pack a bag dinner for your child. You must register 48 hours prior to the event.

Moving for Better Balance is a falls prevention program that uses the principles and movements of Tai Chi to help older adults increase their strength, improve their balance, and increase their confidence in doing everyday activities. Learn gentle restorative yoga poses, breathing techniques and relaxation designed specifically for cancer patients currently undergoing treatment or those who have completed treatment. All ability levels are welcome and accommodated. Please be sure to check with your doctor before participating in the yoga class. Classes are open to all cancer survivors, their families and caregivers.
