Zumba in the Dark

Come join the biggest dance party for LIVESTRONG® at the the YMCA! For two hours we will turn off the lights and dance in the dark to the hottest Zumba® tracks. All proceeds from this event will benefit LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA, a free 12-week cancer program for adults with a current or past cancer diagnosis.

Raffles, food & beverages will be provided. Register at the Welcome Desk.

"Stranger Danger!"

Children in this class will learn to recognize the difference between a safe individual and a dangerous stranger.

Home Alone Safety

Participants in this class will learn about how to be safe when walking home alone or when they are at home alone. It will include topics such as danger recognition, fire safety, answering the door and phone when home alone, and some basic first aid. Parents/Guardians will be asked to join us for the last 30 minutes of class, and participants will take home a safety workbook.

The Y makes unwinding with your family easy. Open Family Playtime has something for everyone. The bounce house and other activities will keep little ones entertained while parents connect for some valuable adult conversation. No registration necessary. Parents are responsible for watching their own children.

Riveredge Nature Center at the Y

Forest Fairys and Friendly Gnome Home Building
Sunday, April 30 from 1:30pm-3:00pm
Venture out to Riveredge Nature Center and experience the magic of the forest in spring! Search for small cozy spaces to build fairy and gnome homes for our friends that take care of the forests of Riveredge. We will use natural materials and our imaginations to make this afternoon come to life.

Children ages 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
$6/person. Please register at the Y.

 


Teen Nights

Teen nights bring together teens from across Washington County to engage in fun, safe activities through a partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Washington County. Teens have the opportunity to make new friends, while having fun in a drug and alcohol free environment.
