Teen Nights – West Washington Branch

Teen nights bring together teens from across Washington County to engage in fun, safe activities through a partnership with the Kettle Moraine YMCA and the Boys & Girls Club of Washington County. Teens have the opportunity to make new friends while having fun in a drug and alcohol-free environment. The Washington County Boys and Girls Club will be open from 7pm-8pm on evenings when the YMCA hosts their teen nights.

Home Alone Safety

Participants in this class will learn about how to be safe when walking home alone or when they are at home alone. It will include topics such as danger recognition, fire safety, answering the door and phone when home alone, and some basic first aid. Parents/Guardians will be asked to join us for the last 30 minutes of class, and participants will take home a safety workbook

Feith Family Ozaukee Easter Egg Hunt

Bring your family to the Feith Family Ozaukee Branch for an outside Easter Egg Hunt! The hunt will be separated into three age group for children ages 1-10. Come hunt for Easter eggs hidden all over our YMCA grounds.

Under Water Easter Egg Hunt – West Washington

By the pool, in the sun, we’re all getting together to have some fun! Bring the family to our Winter Beach Bash. Games, crafts, sand castle building, limbo contest and much more in the track gym. Don’t forget to take a dip in the Family Adventure Pool.

Kids Day Out

On days when school is not in session our full day Kids Day Out program invites children to explore new activities and build relationships. We provide a trusting environment where you and your child will feel welcomed. Snacks are provided. Participants should bring a swimsuit, towel and a bag lunch daily, unless otherwise noted. Minimum enrollment of 8 children per program date to provide care. Some days field trips will be offered at no additional cost.

Payment:
$32 per day
Payment must be received at time of enrollment. You must register 10 days prior to the Kids Day Out date you wish for your child to attend. If the program is running, no refunds will be issued if your child is registered and does not attend. Photo ID is required in order to pick up your child from Kids Day Out.

LIVESTRONG at the YMCA

This is a cancer wellness & exercise class. The goal of this program is to empower adult cancer survivors to improve functional capacity and to increase their quality of life through an organized program of fitness and strength.

Youth Theme Days – West Washington Branch

Come for one or come for all. Each day has a different theme where children will play games, read stories, sing songs, make art projects and have a simple snack all around the day’s theme. Preregistration is required for 24 hours prior to class date. Children with food allergies should contact the program coordinator prior to class.

Healthy Living with Diabetes

This evidence based workshop will help you increase your confidence in managing your diabetes through self-management skills. While you may see a physician or another health care provide several times a year, most days you are the one who controls your diabetes through monitoring, nutrition, exercise and managing your symptoms. Healthy Living with Diabetes is a researched program proven to help you.

Falls/Arthritis Management – River Shores Branch

Moving For Better Balance is a falls prevention program that uses the principles and movement of Tai Chi to help older adults increase their strength, improve their balance, and increase their confidence in doing everyday activities. Thank you to the St. Joseph’s Healthy Community Fund! Due to their continued support we are able to offer this class at a reduced rate for new participants.

Feb 5-April 25 | Tue & Thurs | 2:45-3:45pm

New participants reduced rate of $15. Returning participants $60.


Healing Yoga for Cancer Survivors

Learn gentle restorative yoga poses, breathing techniques and relaxation designed specifically for cancer patients currently undergoing treatment or those who have completed treatment. All ability levels are welcome and accommodated. Please be sure to check with your doctor before participating in the yoga class. Classes are open to all cancer survivors, their families and caregivers.
