The Y has fitness classes specifically designed for active older adults. They give participants an opportunity to stay physically active or in some cases, to overcome their fear of exercise and begin being physically active.

Healthy Aging fitness programs accommodate a wide variety of interests and functional abilities of active older adults. Healthy Aging programs include water exercise, yoga, strength, and stretching classes. Our volunteer opportunities and social events help build lasting relationships and community ties that last a lifetime.

Chair Yoga

Reconnect with your spirit, mind, and body. Focus on mindful breathing, relaxation, stretching, balance and gentle yoga postures while using a chair for support and stability.


Drumming is a low impact aerobic workout using resistaballs and "drumsticks" to drum with. This is a great class to get in some cardio, an upper body stretch and it is a fun way to de-stress.
