Our Before & After School Child Care program is a licensed, activity-based program designed to activate your kid's imagination and encourage the lifelong core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility through programs and activities that encourage them to explore healthy lifestyle choices and develop their interests.
To make certain we can care for all the families that need us, we are moving our after-school programs to Lincoln Elementary School and Parkside Community United Church of Christ in Saukville. The before school program will continue at the Y; however, we will now be offering a 6:00AM start time!
Lincoln Elementary site will serve afternoon program for Lincoln Elementary, Dunwiddie Elementary and Thomas Jefferson Middle School students in 5th grade. Students not attending Lincoln Elementary will be bussed to this location. The program will be run out of the cafeteria space and a classroom. This will give us a large common space, a homework area and access to the playground, black top and green space. We are excited with the addition of a designated area just for homework and quiet activities!
Parkside Community United Church of Christ will serve afternoon program for Saukville Elementary and Dunwiddie Elementary. Students will be bussed to this location. This space has 5 separate classrooms, a large common area and private bathrooms. This will be a dedicated space for our Y program Monday through Friday which will allow our kids to hang their art projects, more freedom to move between activity rooms and create a real sense of ownership and belonging. The Church is adjacent to Grady Park and will allow us to use the playground, basketball hoops, tennis courts, and green space.
