Suspension training for a total body workout

The TRX® Suspension Trainer is the original bodyweight-based training tool that builds strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability. Every body movement is powered by the torso with the abs and back working together to support the spine during everyday activities. In TRX® Express, all exercises create an element of instability that calls on your core to provide balance and coordination. Therefore, this type of training works to build not only core strength, but total body strength.

A Typical Class

Class will begin with a warm-up. Then, the class dives into a mixture of TRX® exercises and functional training (with or without additional equipment) performed in a series of intervals. These segments are timed, so you don't have to follow the beat of the music. Instead, you complete as many repetitions as you can! After you complete the intervals, class will finish with a stretching sequence to help cool down the body.

  • Mat
  • A variety of equipment (per instructor)
  • All necessary equipment will be provided in class

Attire and What to Bring

  • Come to class dressed and ready to move your body
  • Loose-fitting, functional clothing made of breathable material to allow air flow
  • Water bottle
  • Sweat towel (available at the Welcome Desk)
