Everyone knows the Y as a place to camp, swim, or exercise, but we’re so much more. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we’re working side-by-side with our neighbors to address critical community needs that help kids develop into smart, resilient adults, for people to improve their health and build a sense of community, and for our most vulnerable young people to get the care and support they need.
Here at the Kettle Moraine YMCA, we know that lasting personal and social change comes about when we all work together. That's why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work with our neighbors in Washington and Ozaukee counties to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
The Kettle Moraine YMCA is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
The Y is a powerful association of men, women, and children from all walks of life joined together by a shared passion: to strengthen the foundations of community. With a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y nurtures the potential of every youth and teen, improves the nation's health and well-being and provides opportunities to give back and support neighbors.
With a mission to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. Our impact is felt when an individual makes a healthy choice, when a mentor inspires a child and when a community comes together for the common good.
In Washington and Ozaukee counties, we have the presence and partnerships to not just promise, but deliver positive change. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
These are the shared beliefs and essential principles that guide our behavior, our interactions with each other, our programs and curriculum and our decision-making.
