Our members and friends call us THEIR Y. We call them OUR greatest resource—the THOUSANDS of people who work alongside us and support our work to help our neighbors learn, grow and thrive. What if we could harness all of that power to make an even greater difference on a bigger scale?
With programs from A to Z—like athletics to advocacy, dance classes to disease prevention, volleyball to volunteerism—we don't just strengthen individuals, we strengthen our community. Yet there is so much more to do.
Washington and Ozaukee Counties face new challenges that create a greater need for the work we do. Fortunately, where some see obstacles, we see opportunities for our members, communities, volunteers, staff and generous donors like you to make a difference. No other organization can impact as many people as powerfully as we do every day.
The Kettle Moraine YMCA is committed to providing quality programs and facilities to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. While we strive to keep values-based programs and fees affordable by subsidizing some of the real costs, we know that during difficult times some individuals and families will need financial assistance.
Through the Annual Campaign, we are able to ensure that no one is turned away based on their ability to pay. Your volunteer and financial commitment will help thousands of youth and families share their YMCA experience!
The members of the YMCA Heritage Club are men and women who believe in the mission of the Y, share its ideals and traditions and have made a commitment to ensure that this heritage is continued for future generations. They have made specific gifts to the Kettle Moraine YMCA Endowment Fund, ensuring the Y’s ability to be a positive force in this community for years to come.
The purpose of this club is to encourage thoughtful gifts as a primary means of building a strong endowment capable of providing lasting support for the Y’s mission and to recognize the members whose leadership, service and devotion to the Y has created this heritage.
Heritage Club members meet annually to enjoy fellowship, find inspiration in the Y’s work and learn how their contribution is making their community a better place to live, work and play.
Planned gifts can offer significant tax advantages and, in some cases, generate lifetime income for your chosen beneficiary. Talk to your lawyer or financial planner about your options, or give us a call—we'd love to help you find the best way to extend your legacy.
How you can become a Heritage Club member:
Membership in the Heritage Club requires a commitment which now, or in the future, will contribute to the YMCA’s Endowment Fund. An outright minimum gift of $2,500 or naming the YMCA Endowment Fund as a beneficiary for $10,000 or more qualifies you for membership.
There are a variety of gift options available:
In the case of a will or other deferred gift, the amount need not be revealed, but if one chooses to do so, it will aid in our long range planning.
