Safety Certifications

Basic First Aid Certification
Ages 14 and up
Participants learn first aid skills for treating a variety of injuries, such as burns, wounds, head, neck, and back injuries, and heat and cold emergencies. Participants also learn to manage sudden illnesses, stroke, seizure, bites, and poisoning. This class is open for members and community participants.

CPR /AED Professional Certification
Ages 14 and up
Designed for individuals with a duty to respond to emergencies, this program combines discussions, video and hands-on training. Real-life rescue scenarios reinforce decision-making skills. This class is open for members and community participants.

Lifeguard Course - American Red Cross
Ages 15 and up
Participants must be able to meet physical and preliminary swimming requirements. Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Standard First Aid are taught during the course.
