The Kettle Moraine YMCA offers health and well-being classes for youth and teens ages 7-17 in West Bend and Saukville/Port Washington. Our programs help youth to develop healthy exercise and wellness habits that will help them maintain a healthier lifestyle as they grow. We encourage the youth to share their experiences with their families.
Youth Bootcamp - Ages 7-14
FREE for Members
Come join in the fun! Join our youth boot camp class lead by a certified personal trainer. You will strengthen your heart and muscles all while having a blast! Classes will be held in the Virtual Vault.
Youth Strength Training -
FREE for Members
Have fun with your friends while you increase your strength, a valuable part of a healthy lifestyle. Strengthen major muscle groups, learn new exercises, practice proper technique. Class is led by a certified personal trainer. Classes will be held in the Virtual Vault.
Intro to Weight Training -
Work one-on-one with one of our certified personal trainers to learn safety and techniques for proper strength training. Must complete this program to gain access to the Free Weight Center.

Youth Bootcamp - Ages 7-12

Flex intro to Strength & Weight Training for Youth - Ages 12-15
Increase your strength, a valuable part of a healthy lifestyle at all ages. Work in a small group with one of our instructors to strengthen major muscle groups, learn new exercises and practice proper and safe technique. Perfect for kids involved in school sports.
Youth ages 12 and 13 can access our Circuit Weight Center, which contains all of our cardio equipment, with a supervising adult during designated hours after completing an orientation to the equipment together. Once a youth turns 14 they may use this area on their own after an orientation.
Youth ages 14 and up can improve their strength in our Free Weight Center. Set up an orientation to learn how to properly use the equipment and our Wellness Specialists will also provide you with a simple plan to work towards your goals. Youth ages 11-14 can use the Free Weight Center once they complete the Intro to Weight Training class.
Members and Guests ages 9 & under are prohibited from using the Fitness Center at all times. No Exceptions. Children ages 10-12 must complete an orientation with their parent, or guardian before using the Fitness Center. After the orientation they may use cardio machines and equipment directly adjacent to their parent or guardian during specified non-peak times. Children 10-12 may NOT use the Fitness Center M-F 5:00pm-7:30pm or Sat/Sun Open -1:00pm. Children ages 13-15 must complete an orientation before using the Fitness Center.
