Teachers and Assistant Teachers
DEPARTMENT: Child Care – School Age
HOURS: Wednesdays – 2:15pm – 4:00pm
JOB DUTIES: Implement activities for elementary school children at Wayne and Farmington Schools during Wednesdays – early release days. Some of the activities include active games & sports, nutrition, homework and computers. Excellent opportunity to gain experience for anyone looking to work in a field related to children such as: Education, Phy Ed, Recreation. Extra subbing hours are available in our Child Care Departments at the Y.
REQUIREMENTS: Past experience in working with children is helpful for this position.
WAGE RANGE: $8.00 – $9.00 free adult membership is included

Evening Aquatics Supervisor
Hours:
Part time – Monday thru Thursdays 5:00pm – 8:00pm (some Saturday mornings)
Job Duties:
Supervise and correct aquatic staff according to staff expectations as needed while maintaining a high level of safety. Be actively involved in teaching in the water and help with lifeguarding duties.
Requirements:
Must hold a current Red Cross Lifeguard/First Aid, PRO-CPR/AED certification and a current Red Cross WSI or YMCA swim Lesson certification, must be enthusiastic, a positive role model, and be able to work with all ages.
Wage range: $8.50-$10.00/hour
Other Information:
Able to cover instruction of Parent/Child, Pre-School and Youth Swim Lesson and Lifeguard duties in the absence of staff. Maintain Lifeguard and Instructor Expectations.

Building Supervisor
Hours: Part- time (1 to 2 days per week and 1 to 2 weekend shifts per month)
Job Duties:
- Touring and signing up new and potential members.
- Helping out the Front Line when needed by answering phones and registering people for programs.
- Walking the facility to insure we are providing a safe environment.
Requirements: Mature responsible individual who likes to work with kids, and build relationships with our members. CPR/AED Certification for adult and infant.

Custodian
DEPARTMENT: Maintenance
HOURS: Full time – Monday thru Friday – 9pm to 5:30am
JOB DUTIES: Clean locker rooms, shower areas, bathrooms, floor scrubbing, trash collection, vacuuming, any other job duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalent to - 1 year experience in cleaning must be able to lift 50 lbs. - must be able to work with little or no supervision.
WAGE RANGE: $9.00 - $11.50/hour
