Job Duties:

The Day Camp Counselor serves as a leader and counselor to campers and participates in the planning and implementation of the day camp programming, taking responsibility for each child’s safety and for the overall quality of his/her camp experience.

Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must have completed High School or equivalent.
  • Should have understanding, patience, creativity, cooperative spirit, common sense, spiritual depth and commitment to working with youth.
  • Able to work in and with diverse populations and have organizational skills.
  • Current or able to obtain CPR PRO/First Aid/Shaken Baby Certifications.
  • The incumbent will exhibit the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility in all aspects of daily work.

Job Duties:

As a part of our school age staff team you will help nurture all children. You will help provide opportunities for physical activity and healthy eating, as well as build relationships with families and be a strong role model. We are looking for motivated staff that are passionate about working with kids and are willing to go above and beyond, take initiative to lead activities and build relationships. Great if you are going into the child care or teaching profession.

Job Duties:

Our YMCA Youth Sports Program is dedicated to improving sports skills while emphasizing fun, sportsmanship, teamwork and the development of self-esteem. You would be responsible for assisting and leading assigned youth sports programs such as volleyball, soccer, basketball, football, ect. Staff will engage participants in fun and enthusiastic manner.  Additional opportunities to help with our After School Intramural Program at Silverbrook Intermediate School would be available.

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 15 years of age.
  • Experience and knowledge of working with youth ages 3-12 and parents.
  • Must be outgoing and enthusiastic. 
  • Must be able to provide transportation to and from program areas.

As part of the Kettle Moraine YMCA's Healthy Living team, you will work with a team of passionate individuals aiming to help improve our communities health and well-being. Job Duties:

Care for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years, according to their developmental levels and needs, also following licensing rules and requirements.
