Job Duties:

Gain hands on learning experience in the field of health and wellness by assisting with the operation and implementation of health, wellness, and fitness programs, events, and services. Main responsibilities include providing Kettle Moraine YMCA members and community participants with a supportive, motivating and inspiring wellness experience.

Requirements:
  • 18 years of age - Pursuing a degree in Exercise Science, Wellness Health Promotion, or related health field
  • Hold and maintain a CPR/AED certification
  • Able to lift, push and pull 30 pounds as well as stoop and crouch

Job Duties:

The Aquatics Coordinator reports to the Aquatics Director and assists in supervising and managing the aquatic department and programs.  The Aquatics Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with pool operations and supervising staff.  They must have the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and members, and they must possess a style of leadership that is team-orientated.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent

2. Preferred Certifications: CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid, Lifeguarding, YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor, WSI

3. One to two years of related experience

4. Scheduled weeknight and weekend availability.

5. Excellent administrative, organizational, customer service and communication skills. Must be detail orientated
