Job Duties:

We are seeking a highly motivated team member who can contribute to our growing School Age and Day Camp Department Team at our Y. This position will coordinate multiple before and after school & summer day camp programs throughout the West Bend area. Candidates for this position must have strong relationship building and leadership skills, a passion for working with school age children and their families, and be highly innovative.

Job responsibilities will include; direct in-program hours; assisting the day camp and school age director in the overall development of programs; hire, train and supervise multiple staff teams; ensure risk management and safety policies are in place and implemented including Wisconsin state childcare licensing guidelines, Youngstar, and YUSA program standards; monitoring and ordering supplies, snack, food program, program registration and billing; and communicating daily with parents/guardians and school personnel.

This is a full time exempt position working 40+ hours per week that requires a flexible schedule including early mornings and some evenings. Additionally, the position includes full benefits package including health/dental/life insurance, 12% fully paid retirement plan, discounted YMCA childcare and other programs, and a free family Y membership.

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Associates Degree or Bachelor Degree preferred or a level 12 or higher on the registry
